Future Growth and Plans

Riverbound Trout Farms, LLC is a commercial fishery in Lebanon, Virginia. Future goals include the distribution of smoked fish and fresh fillets. We are currently building a processing plant and hoping to encourage other growers to enter the food fish market. 

We provide consulting and construction support for interested farmers wanting to grow any species of fish.

Future Plans

  • The building of an educational center on site that will offer classes in aquaculture, and seminars and non-credit courses in fish farm development and operation.

​

  • Increased  production of fry and fingerlings to support the development of the farmer-based industry.​
